Fidonet Point

If your interested in getting your own point setup for Fidonet I offer a connection
at no charge.

What do you need?

1) Mailer / Tosser / Reader - D'Bridge has that all built into one easy to use
package for DOS. You can grab a copy here.

2) Point Address. - (Email me for that info!)

My personal setup is a bit different from what I've listed above for various
reasons. I instead use IREX, Fastecho, OMX, Bluewave>QWK, OLMS.

Why? Because Vista can't do full screen text mode with a font size I can read.
So I have done the above as I ran IREX before, fastecho is quick and easy to
configure, OMX creates Bluewave packets right from the JAM message areas
that I toss to, and BW2QWK converts the Bluewave packets to QWK for my
Windows based QWK reader OLMS.

Obviously if you want a POINT address you probably have experience with
FTN software anyway so this page is mostly filler. ;)
